Employee-Owned: Join a company where your efforts directly contribute to our success—and share in the rewards.What You’ll Be Doing As an Electrical Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of motivated engineers to design, integrate, troubleshoot, and support cutting-edge automated control systems for industrial environments. Your expertise in electrical design will directly influence the success of complex projects, from initial concept through to installation and support. Your responsibilities will include: Innovative System Design: Develop and implement electrical system designs, including power distribution (24 VDC, 120 VAC, 480 VAC), motor control systems, and control system design. High-Impact Projects: Lead the design of motor control panels (MCP), power systems, and single-line drawings, contributing to the development of high-performance automated systems. Collaborative Engineering: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to create functional specifications, network system architecture (e.g. EtherNet), and field installation drawings. Documentation Excellence: Prepare accurate, detailed documentation, including catalog cuts, phasing plans, as-built documents, and RFIs. Hands-On Design & Support: Provide technical support to installation contractors, manage the development of interface drawings, and ensure systems are delivered to specification and code (NEC, CEC). Continuous Improvement: Stay at the forefront of emerging electrical design trends and best practices, continuously evolving your skill set to deliver top-tier solutions Qualifications Required: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline) or a College Technology Diploma with hands-on electrical design experience. Expertise in electrical control systems design, including experience with low-voltage (480 VAC) power systems and PLC control systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design tools, with a solid understanding of electrical drawings and best practices. Familiarity with NEC and CEC electrical codes and standards. A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to engage with installation contractors and end customers.
