As Brock Solutions continues to grow and respond to the on-going requirements of major clients, we need to add talent to our base of outstanding professionals. We are currently seeking an On-site Control Systems Engineer to join our team of experienced professionals in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Troubleshooting of electrical, PLC, and HMI systems
  • Provide on-site shift coverage, including weekends and holidays. 
  • Resolve operational issues by providing technical solutions
  • Engage with customers directly
  • Commission and install systems on-site
  • Optimize and tune for performance, reliability, and scalability through PLC and software changes
Qualifications Required:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Quick learner with the ability to follow procedures and processes
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of industrial environments, engineering and production processes
  • College or University degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Design, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or 5 years of relevant technical work experience

Preferred Assets:

  • Programming skills in Ladder Logic or languages such as C, C#, VBA, SQL, or others.
  • Familiarity with PLCs (e.g. ControlLogix, Modicon, Siemens S7)
  • Familiarity with HMIs (e.g. FactoryTalkView, Wonderware, iFix)
  • Familiarity with IT/Networking and database application
  • Ability to read electrical schematics
