This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact as Brock continues to grow our presence in Europe, with a focus in Dublin, responding to the on-going requirements of major clients. Working with our other highly motivated Software Integration Engineers, you will be involved in the entire cycle of the software engineering process. We are currently seeking a Software Integration Engineer to join our team of experienced professionals. This position will be based in Dublin.

What You’ll Do

 
  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team to deploy & configure software to customer test and production environments
  • Configure and setup server hardware and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, Bluetooth Devices)
  • Modify product code to meet the customer's unique needs
  • Demonstrate complete integrated system with key external stakeholders during Functional Acceptance Testing & On-site System Testing
  • Not just an office job, travel to site to see your work in action (depending on project, up-to 25%).
  • Root Cause Analysis of defects identified in production.
  • Limited on call rotating support escalation (10%)
  • Maintain, develop, and improve our automated test and deployment tools
  • Other duties as assigned by Project Manager
Qualifications Required:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency with SQL & knowledge of databases
  • Experience with an object-oriented programming language is required. C# is preferred but Java, C++, or other languages are also acceptable.
  • Knowledge of Flyway, Powershell, Azure Devops, Python, Ignition is an asset
  • The ability to travel & perform night/weekend work
  • Willing to travel to North America for up to 1 month at a time
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
  • Preferred 1-3 years’ experience (co-op considered). If you have graduated within the last 3 years, please also submit a soft copy of your transcript (unofficial copy is fine).
